Game Recap
- The Ephs began the game dominating offensively, firing off seven consecutive shots before
Zoe Rosenberg sent one past the Trail Blazers' Juliette Barney for her first career goal (2:37).
- Less than three minutes after Rosenberg opened the night's scoring,
Celine Mayer followed with her first goal of the season, bringing the lead up to 2-0 for the Ephs (5:08).
- The Ephs' looked like a well-oiled machine throughout the entirety of the period, with their defense stifling any opportunities for the Trail Blazers in their attacking third, as well as their offense moving the puck around with ease. About halfway though the period,
Quinn Dawson found
Leah Rubinshteyn, who buried the puck in the back of the net to give the Ephs a 3-0 lead (8:35).
- Due to a delayed penalty, the Ephs sported six skaters on the ice, and the increased offensive pressure gave way to another goal, courtesy of Rubinshteyn, bringing the lead to 4-0 for the Ephs just two minutes into the second period (2:09).
- Junior forward
Chloe Noxon joined in on the scoring action soon after, firing a wrist shot past Barney off an assist by
Lucie Bond (6:06).
- After recording her first career point in Saturday's loss to the Amherst College Mammoths with an assist, first-year forward
Annie Gallagher showed some impressive stick skills in the offensive zone to notch her first career goal, firing a shot off of the back of her stick and into the right side of the net (7:40).
- Gallagher's gift for finding the back of the net was on full display in this evening's contest. The first year took the puck and circled the net, before firing a shot from the slot and past Barney for her second goal, only 38 seconds after her first (8:08).
- The Ephs' final goal of the evening came on a power play—Rubinshteyn found the back of the net for the third time, putting an exclamation mark on the Ephs' win with a hat trick (14:21).
Next up for the Ephs, they will face off against the Keene State Owls in a home contest on Saturday, November 23rd, with the puck drop scheduled for 2PM.
