Williamstown, MA — This Saturday, the Williams Men's Squash Team opened their home courts against the #3 ranked Princeton Tigers. The team fought hard, playing some tight games and stealing a match, however the Ephs ultimately lost 8-1. Eph head oach

Jack Lee started off the first round of matches on the three court system for the Ephs. He lost the first two games but then was able to regroup and use his consistency and physicality to win the third 13-11. Lee ultimately fell short in the fourth, losing 3-1.
Pierce Henderson in the #7 spot played some of his best squash of the season, keeping his foot on the gas and using his perfect precision to win in a clinical three games. Himu Pannu kept it close but lost 3-0.
In the second round of matches,
Nick Agger and
Rafay Syed faced talented opponents and fell in three.
Alex Akbari in the #5 spot played through an opponent-inflicted broken racket, but fell short in a very tight three games.
Wrapping it up for the team was
Andrew Minnis,
Will Newton, and Himu Pannu who were able to keep up with their opponents early in the game but unfortunately all lost 3-0.
The Ephs travel down to New York City to take on Columbia in a match that is expected to be very close.
