MIDDLEBURY, Vt. -- The Williams College Ephs (8-11-2, 5-8-1 NESCAC) fell to the #7 Middlebury College Panthers (12-6-3, 9-3-2 NESCAC) 1-0.

- About two minutes into the contest the Panthers had a good chance when Raia Schluter collected a rebound in the crease. Eph goalie

- The Ephs struggled offensively during the first period, only recording 6 shots on goal in comparison to the Panthers' 17. The Panthers broke through for the first goal in the game a little bit over the halfway mark to take a 1-0 lead (11:36).
- With under a minute left in the period, the Ephs were penalized for slashing and the Panthers went on their first power play opportunity of the night (0:40). The Ephs' penalty kill unit stepped up and was able to hold the Panthers from scoring.
- A minute into the 2nd period, the Ephs picked up another penalty, this one for cross-checking. While the Panthers were able to get a number of shots off, the Ephs' defense held strong.
- About midway through the 2nd period, the Ephs went on the power play. Despite getting some good looks, they were not able to score.

After the game, Eph head coach Megan Gillis commented, "Erin kept us in the game again today and gave us a chance to come back and tie the game up. The PK came up huge, killing the extended 3v5. We will continue to work on our offense heading into this weekend."
Next up for the Ephs, they will face the Amherst College Mammoths in a rivalry game, in Amherst on Friday, February 16th, with the puck drop scheduled for 7PM.
