The Short Story: First year pitchers

Sydney Fleming '25 and
Ronni Ramos '26 hit the Ephs first home runs of the season and
Tayler Wise '24 continues to lead the team on both sides of the ball. Both teams managed just four hits apiece in the five inning game.
Coach's Take: "It was a crazy day with the weather and travel and I'm proud to be a part of this resilient and consistent team. We have room to get better for sure, but so far we've had strong pitching performances from four players in four games and good hitting from many players. We're all excited for some rest tomorrow and to get back after it on Wednesday."- Head Coach
Kris Herman

- Vicky Trujillo Balderas '25 remained stalwart at second base, making several impressive plays at key moments.
Game 2
How it Happened

- Sadie Leonard '26 came in to relieve starter Natalie Carter '27 and struck out four of the eight batters they faced to close out the win.
- Ronni Ramos '24 hit her first home run of the year and second of the day for the Ephs, in the second inning.
- Kayla Chang '25 and Sydney Fleming '25 led the team on defense
