HADLEY, MASS. -- Three members of
Hesham Aly's 2023-24 Williams Women's Squash team, all First Years, have been honored by a vote of the NESCAC Coaches.

Melanie Wang was named the Rookie of the Year and also a First Team honoree. Wang is the first Eph to garner the NESCAC Rookie of the Year honor since 2008.

Sophie Koehler and
Rachel Miller received Second Team laurels.

"Melanie has had an incredible season as a First Year playing at the #2 spot with a NESCAC win-loss record this year of 5-3," stated Eph head coach
Hesham Aly. "I am so thrilled for her winning the Rookie of the Year award this season and also making the All-NESCAC First Team. Melanie has consistently worked hard on her game and fitness all season, so it is great to her get the recognition she has earned. It has been a pleasure working with her this season, and I look forward to seeing Melanie elevate her game in the coming years."
