The Short Story:
The Ephs secured a dominant victory over RPI, posting a 9-0 win in Bangor, ME. Sadie Leonard led the charge on the mound with a no-hitter, pitching all five innings and shutting down RPI's offense entirely. Offensively, Williams struck early with Tayler Wise's RBI single in the 2nd inning driving in Kayla Chang. The 3rd inning showcased a five-run surge, highlighted by Sydney Fleming's two-run homer and timely hits by Ronni Ramos and Sidney Miller. Williams' strong performances both on the mound and at the plate, set a strong tone as they prepare to face Framingham State University in game three of the NCAA Division III Softball Regional at 11 AM on Friday.

Sadie Leonard pitched all five innings, shutting out RPI's offense. Leonard struck out 10 of the 15 batters they faced, allowing no hits and only one walk.

The Ephs initiated the scoring in the 2nd inning, when Tayler Wise hit a single up the middle, driving in Kayla Chang who had singled and reached second on a sacrifice bunt by Sidney Miller.

The Ephs had an excellent third inning offensively, scoring five runs. After Kelly McGuigan reached first on a walk, Sydney Fleming hit her eighth home run of the season to left field driving both herself and McGuigan home. In the next scoring push, Ronni Ramos hit a double to left field. Katie Blanch reached base due to a fielding error by RPI's third baseman. Sidney Miller followed up with a single up the middle, an error by RPI allowed Blanch and Ramos to reach home, making the score 5-0. Sidney Miller scored the final run of the inning when Tayler Wise hit a single to RPI's shortstop.

Sydney Fleming scored the seventh run of the game in the top of the fourth inning, off a double to right field by Justine Dunaway.

Alysa DeQuiroz and Tayler Wise Scored the final two runs of the game in the fifth inning. After Wise reached first on a fielders choice, DeQuiroz drove her home with a double down the left field line. DeQuiroz scored herself off a single by Kelly McGuigan to center field.
