Brunswick, ME – The Williams Men's golf team finished in 13th place after day one of the Bowdoin Invitational hosted by Bowdoin College at Brunswick Golf Club.
Sophomore
Alex Moller led the way for the Ephs finishing with a 3-over par 75. Moller continued his successful fall season, hitting fairways and greens en route to another low score.
Next for the Ephs was senior
Ben Sapovits finishing at 5-over par 77. Fellow senior,
Phillip Clifton, finished close behind at 7-over par 79.
Rounding out the scoring for the Ephs was junior
Will Rich coming in at 8-over par 80.
Ephs head coach
Josh Hillman spoke on the outcome after one day of competition: "I don't think anybody is satisfied with the position we're in after today. I'm happy with the way everyone fought out there. We're all looking forward to another opportunity to come out and play well tomorrow."
The Ephs will be back in action again at 9 AM at Brunswick GC.
