NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Men's All-Academic Teams and Athletes for the 2024 NCAA Division III Cross Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Williams College Men's Cross Country team received All-Academic distinction, and all seven Ephs who represented Williams at the national championship meet in November earned individual All-Academic honors.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers. The Ephs boasted a team cumulative GPA of 3.69.
To individually qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.

Chuckie Namiot '25,
Malcolm Oakes '28,
Rick Yanashita '26, and
Luke Zanuck '26 qualified for this honor.
Alex Kemp '28 was also named to the All-Academic team, adding to the legacy of accomplishments he achieved during his time at Willliams.
These accolades followed a successful 2024 cross country season for the Ephs. At the NESCAC Championship, Williams finished in first place, with
Chuckie Namiot '25 taking home the individual title. The Ephs went on to secure second place at the NCAA DIII Mid-East Regional Championship. Namiot was the individual runner-up. At the NCAA DIII National Cross Country Championships, the team took home tenth place, with Namiot earning All-American honors for his seventh place finish.
