Morgan Daetz combined for 24 assists, during a 3-0 setback against No. 17-ranked Wesleyan Friday evening at Silloway Gymnasium.

Adalena Rodgers recorded eight digs for the Ephs (14-3, 5-3 NESCAC). Leading the way for the Cardinals (15-1, 7-0 NESCAC) were Ali Landa (25 assists, 5 digs), Elliana Moreno (12 digs, 4 assists) and Sophia Lindus (14 kills, 5 digs).
The Cardinals earned a 25-11 first-set win on a game-clinching kill by Fiona LaCamera. Wesleyan developed an 11-5 lead in the second set, but Williams responded and trimmed the deficit down to 21-19 on a service ace by Daetz. A kill by Lindus secured a 25-20 victory for the hosts. Chi Obi (4 kills) led the charge for the visitors during the second set.
Wesleyan clinched the match with a 25-11 third-set triumph, concluding with a kill by Lindus. Williams' last victory against Wesleyan came during the second round of the 2022 NCAA Division III Tournament in Middletown, Connecticut.
The Ephs will compete against Kean (1 p.m.) and NYU (4 p.m.) Saturday in New York.
