WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The resume of the Williams College women's crew program over the last three years is tremendous.
The Ephs won the NESCAC Championship in 2023, taking home the conference crown for the first time since 2016. During the spring of the 2024, the second varsity eight boat captured gold at the NCAA Championship and National Invitational Rowing Championship. The unit finished second in the team point standings at the 2025 national championship, while the first varsity eight boat took home a silver medal. The first and second varsity eight teams garnered second-place laurels during the 2025 National Invitational Rowing Championship.
Expectations remain high for the program heading into the 2025 fall season. The Ephs begin the journey at the Head of the Riverfront on Sunday, Oct. 5, in Hartford, Connecticut, and then take their talents to the Go for Gourd Regatta (Oct. 11) in Hadley, Massachusetts. The fall season concludes with the prestigious Head of the Charles (Oct. 19) on the Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

"The women's crew team gives its all for each other every day," said Riddle. "Our last shaky repetitions in the weight room and our relentless practices are for a faster whole team. This year, the team's why runs deep, which is evident in our work ethic and in our mantra, 'Love makes boats go fast.' I cannot wait to show Division III rowing what we are capable of accomplishing."
