HADLEY, Mass. - Seniors
Ellie Davis and
Carolyn Fortin of the No. 2-ranked Williams College women's crew team earned All-NESCAC First Team honors, while senior
Claire McDonald took home Second Team laurels from the conference office Thursday afternoon.
Davis is making her second consecutive appearance on the All-Conference Team, garnering First Team accolades in 2025. Fortin and McDonald are making their debut.
Davis, Fortin and McDonald have competed with the first varsity eight boat in all six events this spring. During the New England Rowing Championship on May 2 and National Invitational Rowing Championship/NESCAC Championship on May 10, the three student-athletes powered their boat to silver medals during the grand final.
Leading up to the championship season, Davis, Fortin and McDonald went a perfect 4-0 in races, winning at the Skidmore Sprints on April 4, Donahue Cup on April 11, Little Three on April 18 and against visiting Hamilton at Lake Onota in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, on April 25.
The Ephs will compete in the NCAA Division III Championship on May 29-30 at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Georgia.
