Women’s soccer held to scoreless draw at Bates

LEWISTON, Maine - The Ephs women's soccer team settled for a draw at Bates College on Saturday, dominating the play but coming just short of breaking the deadlock as the team extended its unbeaten streak to seven games.

Williams outshot Bates 10-6, including six shots on goal to the Bobcats' two, and had an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Senior goalkeeper Margaret Huelin had two saves on the day, earning her sixth shutouts in nine games this season for the Ephs.

Three Williams players each had two shots, with Ansley Burns, Reece Willison, and Chloe Lee all testing Bates goalkeeper Sydney Litney.

The Ephs will be back in action again on Sunday, staying in Maine for a matchup against the University of Southern Maine in Gorham, with kickoff set for 1pm.
