WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The No. 6-ranked Williams College women's swimming & diving team has been a consistent force at the top of the NESCAC standings.
The Ephs have won 21 conference championships dating back to 2001, including seven consecutive from 2014-20 and back-to-back in 2024 and 2025. The 2025-26 journey begins on Saturday, Nov. 15, with home dual meets against Springfield and Wesleyan at 1 p.m. in Samuelson-Muir Pool.

"The women's swimming & diving program is fortunate to have a strong group of experienced swimmers and divers that have led us to success in the past few years, as well as an extremely talented first-year class that have already been such a positive influence on our team both in and out of the pool," said
Lily Codd '26. "There is no doubt in my mind that this combination, along with the leadership of our amazing coaches, captains and returners, will lead us to a dominant season."
The Ephs earned runner-up team finishes at the 2012 and 2017 national championships, while the program won the first NCAA Team Championship held in 1982 and repeated in 1983. The 2024-25 team finished sixth on the national stage, as the Ephs compiled 16 individual All-American efforts and four in relay events. A total of 11 student-athletes were recognized as All-Americans, while the group also celebrated its 144 dual-meet winning steak that ranged from Jan. 19, 2008 - Jan. 17, 2025.
Williams also competes against WPI and Tufts on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 1 p.m., and then finishes off the first semester of competition at Wesleyan's Jayden Szkirka Memorial Championships on Friday, Dec. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 6, in Middletown, Connecticut. The Ephs host Little Three-rival Amherst on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 1 p.m., and then on Saturday, Jan. 17, the unit travels to New London, Connecticut, for a dual meet against Connecticut College.
On Friday, Jan. 23, the Ephs compete against NYU ands MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, at 2 p.m., and then the following day, Williams takes on Hamilton and Middlebury at 1 p.m. in Clinton, New York. The unit takes part in the Middlebury Invite on Jan. 30-31. The NESCAC Championship occurs on Feb. 12-15 at Wesleyan, and then the February Women's Invite is on Sunday, Feb. 22, at Colby in Waterville, Maine. The NCAA Diving Regional is Feb. 27-28, and then the national championship meet is March 18-21.

"We have got a slightly smaller roster this year than in the past and certainly graduated a very talented senior class," said head coach
Steve Kuster. "If we can stay healthy and be consistently good with training and racing during the season I fully expect us to have a shot at another NESCAC title."

"Our incoming class seems to be settling in well and along with the returners will play a big role," said Kuster. "After winning the most tightly contested NESCAC meet in history last year, the women know they will need to bring it as a complete team this year."
