USTFCCCA Release
NEW ORLEANS - The No. 2-ranked Williams College women's cross country team saw five student-athletes recognized on the 2025 NCAA Division III U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-America Team, as the Ephs finished second out of 32 teams during the national championship meet on Nov. 22 in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
In order to receive this prestigious honor, a runner needs to finish in the top-40 individually at the NCAA Championship. On the 6-kilometer course, the five Ephs to achieve this feat were junior
Tamar Byl-Brann (18th, 21:30.3), junior
Morgan Eigel (20th, 21:34.1), senior captain
Charlene Peng (22nd, 21:38.0), senior captain
Kate Swann (27th, 21:41.2) and sophomore
Kate Tuttle (22:02.5).
Williams has 59 All-American honors in program history, which is the most of any Division III institution.
"This year's team had five individual All-Americans for only the second time in program history," said head coach
Dusty Lopez. "We talked all season about embracing competition and they stepped up beautifully at the NCAA Championship. It is not easy for all five scorers to run that well in the biggest race of the season. The last time it happened was the best team Williams has ever had, the 2002 national championship team that scored 42 points at the NCAA meet. To be in the same conversation as that group just goes to show what a special season this was."
