WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Sophomore
Jake McManus of the Williams College men's ice hockey team scored a pair of third-period goals 59 seconds apart and tallied an assist in the first period during a 4-3 overtime setback to No. 6-ranked Hamilton Friday evening at Lansing Chapman Rink.
The Ephs (2-5-0, 2-3-0 NESCAC) went 1 for 2 on the power play and the Continentals (7-0-0, 4-0-0 NESCAC) went 2 of 5 with the man advantage, as three of the seven goals in the game were scored on the power play. Sophomore goaltender

Hamilton opened the scoring 3:38 into the first period, as Michael Gallary found the back of the net. The Ephs evened the scored with 51 seconds left in the opening period. The sequence started when McManus found first-year
Gates Omicioli on the move into the offensive zone, and then Omicioli quickly slid a pass into the left faceoff circle to first-year
Jackson Krill who one-timed a shot into the back of the net.
The visitors regained the lead at 2-1 on a goal by Luke Tchor 49 seconds into the second period. During a 4-on-3 power play, McManus buried a shot from the slot into the top-right corner with 14:33 remaining in the third. During an ensuing 4-on-4 sequence, McManus stole the puck in the Ephs' defensive zone, and then went on a breakaway in the open ice and gave the hosts the lead for the first time at 3-2 with 13:34 showing on the clock.
During the second half of the third, the Continentals went on a 5-on-3 power play, as Alex Danis was able to even the game at the 13:28 mark. Tchor buried the game-winning goal 29 seconds into overtime for Hamilton on a 4-on-3 opportunity.
