No. 12 Ephs outlast No. 18 Western Ontario, 8-1

PHILADELPHIA - The No. 12-ranked Williams College men's squash team defeated No. 18 Western Ontario, 8-1, on Saturday afternoon in a neutral-site match at the University of Pennsylvania.

The Ephs (2-3, 1-1 NESCAC) received 3-0 sweeps from senior captains Alex Akbari and Rafay Syed, along with first-years Leighton Calhoun and Dylan Scott.

Senior captain Asher Leavy, junior Nick Agger and sophomores Himanshu Pannu and Will Newton won their matches against the Mustangs (2-5) by scores of 3-1.

The Ephs will compete against No. 16 Franklin and Marshall on Friday, Jan. 9, at noon in the Simon Squash Center.
