MANAHAWKIN, NJ — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association proudly honors more than 550 outstanding undergraduate student-athletes from more than 135 institutions who have achieved recognition as 2024 Division III Scholars of Distinction. This program acknowledges exceptional undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester, and are nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. This year three Ephs were honored.
Chloe Bush a junior forward from Falmouth, Maine played in four games and assisted on one goal.
Keira Harder a sophomore defender from Arlington, Mass. started and played in all 20 games in 2024. She played the third most minutes for the Ephs last season, 1,220.
Ellie Smith a first year goalkeeper from Wayland, Mass. started and played in 19 games posting 15 wins against 4 losses. She allowed 16 goals and recorded 79 saves for a save percentage of 0.833. Seven of her wins were shutouts, and her goals against average was 0.78. Smith recorded 9 shutouts in her first campaign as an Eph.
