Ephs Women's Golf Claim Several NESCAC Postseason Awards

WILLIAMSTOWN- MA – Williams Women's Golf team received an outstanding number of NESCAC postseason awards for their strong play in the 2024-2025 regular season. Junior Euna Lee, 2025 NESCAC individual champion, kicked off the honors by receiving NESCAC Player of the Year and All-NESCAC First Team. Lee is no stranger to awards after previously earning 2024 First Team, 2023 Rookie of the Year, and 2023 Second Team.

Senior Captain Gio Kim followed earning First Team for her second year in a row. Kim has strung together an impressive collegiate career with recording 2024 Player of the Year, 2024 First Team, and 2023 Second Team.

Sophomore Natalie Cheong received her first NESCAC award with claiming a spot on the First Team. Sophomore Maryanne Grace also collected her first NESCAC award, earning a spot on the Second Team. These two sophomores achieved their first individual wins in fall 2024. Grace earned medalist honors at Bowdoin's Polar Bear Shootout and Cheong earned the victory at Middlebury's George Phinney Classic.

Coach Tomas Adalsteinsson comments, "It's a tremendous honor for our team to be so well represented in the NESCAC postseason awards. I'm incredibly proud of our entire team, and especially the four players we were able to nominate - all of whom were recognized. Each of them is truly deserving. We're also thrilled for Euna on being named NESCAC Player of the Year - an especially meaningful accomplishment as she becomes just the second player ever, and the second Eph, to earn this honor after previously being named Rookie of the Year. These recognitions are a testament to the players' hard work, commitment, and the legacy they continue to build at Williams."
