PALM DESERT, Calif. - The Williams College women's golf team finished their 2025-26 season by earning 10th place at the NCAA Division III National Championship in Palm Desert, Calif. The Ephs had a number of strong rounds throughout the four-day tournament that closed a historic season.
The Ephs had a team score of 51-over-par over the course of four rounds at the Desert Willow Golf Resort, playing the first round on the Mountain View course, and the final three rounds on the Firecliff course.
Euna Lee was the top individual finisher for Williams at 6-over-par, tied for 19th, followed closely by
Natalie Cheong at 8-over par, tied for 27th in the 176 player field.Â
Emory University won the tournament for the second straight year, followed by Carnegie Mellon, NYU, and Washington & Lee.
Williams also had contributions throughout the week from
Michelle Ding,
Zoe Wynn, and
Emma Abramson. The event was the final tournament in a storied career for
Euna Lee, a four-time All-NESCAC First Team golfer who was the NESCAC Player of the Year for the last two years and the Rookie of the Year in 2022-23.Â
Over the course of the season, the Ephs had a number of excellent performances, including victories in several events, including the historic 22-under-par two-day total at the Polar Bear Shootout in Maine in October.
The Ephs will bring back many players in for the 2026-27 season and will look forward to another strong year.Â
