NORMAN, Okla. - The Williams College men's golf team excelled in the classroom during this past academic year, as the Ephs earned the 2024-25 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic award from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Tuesday afternoon.

The criteria for this honor was a team needed to maintain a collective GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2024-25 school year. A GCAA-record 292 schools across six divisions earned the recognition, while 129 received Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above.The Ephs' roster featured

Clifton and Sapovits were named NCAA Division III Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars by the GCAA for the second consecutive season, while Moller and Estrella garnered NESCAC All-Conference Second Team laurels. During the Williams Spring Invitational on April 19-20 at Waubeeka Golf Links in Williamstown, Massachusetts, Estrella earned medalist honors with a 3-under-par, two-day total of 139 (69-70).
Williams took home runner-up honors during four tournaments in the 2024-25 season, including placing in a tie for second out of 21 teams at the Skidmore Fall Invitational on Oct. 12 in Saratoga Springs, New York. Head Coach
Josh Hillman was honored this summer with the 2025 Bill Strausbaugh award from the Northeastern New York (NENY) PGA Section. This accolade is presented to PGA Professionals who by their day-to-day efforts have distinguished themselves by mentoring their fellow PGA Professionals in improving their employment situations and through their service to the community.
