WILMINGTON, N.Y. - Eliza Sullivan led the way for the Williams College Alpine skiers for the second week in a row, earning another top-10 performance in the slalom as the Ephs finished 7th at the Carnival.
Sullivan earned 31 points for the Ephs with a 9th place finish in the slalom, and Chloe Lathrop (22nd, 22 points) and Charlie Koenig (35th, 13 points) also pitched in important points in the same event.Â
Overall, the Ephs finished with 390 team points between Alpine, which was held this weekend at Whiteface Mountain, and Nordic, held two weeks ago in Lake Placid, at the St. Lawrence Carnival.
Cooper Iacobelli earned points in both events, finishing 28th in the slalom for 17 points, and 34th in the GS for 14 points, William Zurbay was the top Eph in the GS, earning 18 points for 28th place, while Jack Hunter earned 12 points for his 34th place finish in the slalom.
The Ephs had three point-earners in the GS on the women's side, with Koenig earning 11 points for 36th, Lathrop earning 8 for 41st, and Magnolia Conacher capturing 7 points for 42nd place.
Williams will be back in action as both Nordic and Alpine will be competing in the Dartmouth Carnival next weekend in New Hampshire.
