WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Senior forward Conner Fitzpatrick recorded two assists and first-year defender Wilson Farrow tallied one goal and one assist for the Williams College men's ice hockey team, as nine Ephs registered at least one point during a 5-4 overtime setback to No. 12-ranked Bowdoin Saturday afternoon at Lansing Chapman Rink.

Junior goaltender Harrison Fogel made 33 saves for the Ephs (5-10-2, 4-7-0 NESCAC), while sophomore forward Jake McManus went 11-5 in the faceoff circle. The Polar Bears (11-5-1, 7-3-1 NESCAC) held a 38-34 advantage in shots on goal, as Louie Marcellino led the way for Bowdoin with one goal and two assists.

Junior forward Logan Valkama opened the scoring for Williams at the 6:29 mark of the first period, as he redirected a shot from the right faceoff circle by Fitzpatrick into the back of the net during a power play. Bowdoin scored four of the next five goals to take a 4-2 lead heading into the third period. Farrow scored for the Ephs at the 3:02 mark of the second period, burying a shot from the right edge of the crease, as the opportunity was created by a rebound off a shot by Fitzpatrick.

The Ephs trimmed the deficit down to 4-3 at the 4:45 mark of the third period, as McManus redirected senior defenseman Jared Lambright's shot from the point into the right side of the net. The hosts generated the equalizer with 7:55 on the scoreboard, as sophomore Rowan Heithoff flipped a back-handed shot into the goal during a scrum in front of the crease. Ricky Volpe found the game-winning goal for the visitors 1:52 into the 3-on-3 overtime period.

The Ephs compete against Connecticut College on Friday at 7 p.m. in New London, Connecticut.
