MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - The Ephmen took the pool by storm today for the last two sessions of the Middlebury Invitational. In the morning, the Ephs had some solid 200 Medley relay performances. It is worth mentioning that the D relay was anchored by diver Hoachen Liu. Nonetheless, Liu posted an impressive 22.8 split. He followed this up with a victory on the 1M later in the morning.
Coleman Kimmel and
Benham Cobb had great 400 IMs, with Cobb posting a lifetime best time. They touched the wall in 4:05.69 and 4:25.19 respectively.
Several Ephmen swam the 100 butterfly, with Mike Ma and
Hugh Henry posting great times. These two don't typically swim the event, but regardless stayed competitive in the field.
Ryan Nunez won the 200 freestyle in 1:44.06, followed by
Vincent Kim (1:45.75),
Colin Kavanagh (1:46.10),
Kai Batchelor (1:47.86) and
Bob Frazer (1:47.98).

Harrison Williams and
Whitman Horton had solid 100 breaststroke swims, touching in 1:02.16 and 1:02.70 respectively. Sam Brozek went a lifetime best time in the 100 backstroke.
Theo Randall won the event, however, in a 52.77.
In the evening, the Ephmen continued the momentum with a win from Sam Brozek in the 500 freestyle, touching in 4:47.74. Nye Hanan and
Vincent Kim touched 2nd and 3rd in the 200 backstroke, with 1:57 swims.
Ryan Nunez won the 100 freestyle with a 47.12.
Kimmel posted an outstanding 200 breaststroke, going a 2:06.65, his fastest time all season.
Aidan Lee also had a strong swim in a 2:13.55.
Benham Cobb then went a lifetime best time in the 200 butterfly, with a 2:01.32.
The relay of
Ryan Nunez ,
Colin Kavanagh,
Bob Frazer and
Whitman Horton then finished first for the Ephs in the 400 freestyle relay. In a relatively even heat of Ephs, this relay was the top finisher.
The Ephs now have a few weeks before the NESCAC Championships at Colby.
