WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The No. 10-ranked Williams College women's soccer team shared the wealth effectively Sunday afternoon, as 10 Ephs recorded at least one point in a 6-0 non-conference triumph against the University of Southern Maine during senior day on Cole Field.
Prior to the game, the Ephs (10-2-0, 7-1-0 NESCAC) honored their outstanding six-person senior class, featuring
Reece Willison,
Bria Abbiati,
Claire Tunney,

Kianna Porter and
Piper Dupies. The group has compiled an overall record of 41-13-13 and a 26-6-6 mark in the NESCAC. The unit reached the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament during the 2023 and 2025 seasons, while making a run to the conference championship game in 2025.
"I could not have asked for a better performance for our seniors on senior day," said seventh-year head coach
Sarah Raymond. "It was a total team win. There were many impressive goals scored and we moved the ball in great ways to set up many excellent scoring opportunities. Everyone who stepped on the field played the way that we have been working on in practice and we saw many heads-up plays. We are excited for what is to come. This wrapped up an amazing weekend and we had a perfect day to be together on Cole."
First-year
Alli Aleman recorded one goal and two assists, while first-year
Claire Patterson (2 goals), sophomore
Chloe Lee (1 goal, 1 assist) and Abbiati (2 assists) contributed to the balanced attack. Patterson scored her first collegiate goal in the victory, while first-year
Lauren Rosenberg and Lee each contributed with their first collegiate assists. Junior goalkeeper
Chelsea Mohammed played the initial 57 minutes, 31 seconds and sophomore goalie
Tessa Chomsky competed in the final 32 minutes, 29 seconds, as the two combined for the shutout.
Junior forward
Elizabeth Stophel put the hosts on the scoreboard during the 20th minute, as she netted a left-footed strike from the top of the 18-yard box into the bottom right corner. During the 26th minute, junior
Greta Pew sent a throw-in down the right attacking side. Rosenberg gained possession and played a cross into the box that was redirected by Aleman into the back of the net for a 2-0 advantage.
Konijnenberg fired a right-footed shot on goal from the edge of the box in the 31st minute. Sophomore midfielder
Olivia Bevilacqua slammed the rebound into the back of the net with a left-footed strike.
Williams added on goals in the 71st and 72nd minutes, extending its advantage to 5-0. Aleman orchestrated the fourth tally, as she worked her way around a defender in the attacking end before placing a through ball that Patterson one-timed from the right side of the box into the left side of the net. One minute, 13 seconds later, Lee started the scoring sequence with an outstanding through ball to Aleman. Patterson one-timed a shot into the net off a pass from inside the box by Aleman.
