WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Junior goaltender
Harrison Fogel of the Williams College men's ice hockey team equaled a career-high 37 saves and registered a .974 save percentage, as 12 Ephs registered one point during a 4-1 victory over Little Three-rival Wesleyan on Friday evening at Lansing Chapman Rink.
The Ephs (7-11-2, 6-8-0 NESCAC) started the scoring at the 5:15 mark of the opening period. Senior defender

Ryan Kearney buried the rebound into the back of the net.
Andrew Haxton evened the score at 1-1Â with 11:38 on the scoreboard in the first for the Cardinals (7-12-0, 6-7-0 NESCAC), and then 36 seconds later, first-year forward
Simon Gaul buried his first collegiate game-winner. Sophomore defender
William Yee attempted a shot from the right point, and then Gaul scored from the left faceoff circle off the rebound.
Neither team found the back of the net in the second period, and then senior defender
Connor Berg scored from the left point at the 6:40 mark of the third, putting the hosts in front, 3-1. Sophomore defender
Grant Fuchsen provided more breathing room for the Ephs, as he also scored from the left point at the 12:53 mark.
The Ephs went 5 for 5 on the penalty kill and finished 35-17 on faceoffs. Junior forward
Logan Valkama was fantastic in the faceoff circle, winning 14-of-15 draws.
Williams will compete against Trinity Saturday at 3 p.m. in Lansing Chapman Rink.
