WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - After another immensely successful indoor season for the Williams College men's track & field team, there will be six Ephs competing at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championship Friday and Saturday at the Birmingham CrossPlex facility in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Ephs making the trip are
Bryce Cooper '26 (distance medley relay),
Ulysses Junker '29 (long jump),
Zachary Liu-Walter '26 (distance medley relay),
Keiyu Mamiya '28 (distance medley relay),
Vincent VanMaaren '27 (pole vault) and
TJ Zwall '29 (distance medley relay).
VanMaaren placed first overall and tallied a personal-best mark of 4.94 meters in the pole vault during the 2025 New England Division III Indoor Championship in Boston. During the 2026 New England Championship, Junker earned first-place laurels with a personal-best performance of 7.17 in the long jump at The Track at New Balance.
Cooper, Liu-Walter, Mamiya and Zwall worked together in the distance medley relay during the Tufts Final Qualifier on March 7 at the Gantcher Family Sports and Convocation Center in Medford, Massachusetts, as the group compiled a runner-up effort with a time of 9:49.62.
