HAVERFORD, Pa. - The No. 20-ranked Williams College women's tennis team went 3-0 in doubles action, and then won 5-of-6 singles matches during a convincing 6-1 victory against No. 35 Haverford Friday at Alumni Field House.

Ayanna Varma emerged victorious in singles and doubles competition for the Ephs (7-2, 2-1 NESCAC) during the triumph over the Fords (3-4).
The Ephs only lost two games in doubles action, as Varma and Ladaga won by a score of 6-1 at the top position. During the second slot, Zhang and junior
Ahn Lin emerged victorious, 6-1, and then at the third position, first-year
Zoe Yao and sophomore
Mia Roets tallied a 6-0 triumph.

Ellie Stark (6-0, 6-2) and first-year
Katelyn Wu (6-4, 6-3) earned singles victories at the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth positions, respectively. Ladaga is 7-0 in singles this semester, while Varma and Stark have gone 8-1 and 6-2, respectively.
The Ephs will compete against No. 16 Swarthmore Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the Michael Mullan Tennis Center.
