WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - After finishing the regular season with a 9-6 overall record and a 5-5 mark in the NESCAC, the No. 19-ranked Williams College women's lacrosse team earned the sixth seed in the NESCAC Tournament and will take on third-seeded and No. 3 Wesleyan in the quarterfinal round of the conference tournament Saturday at noon on Smith Field in Middletown, Connecticut.

Paige Nelson has done a little bit of everything, leading the team in ground balls (27) and also compiling 17 caused turnovers and 10 goals.
The Cardinals (13-2, 8-2 NESCAC) have defeated seven ranked opponents this season. Wesleyan has been balanced offensively, as Addie Cummings (34-12-46), Dylan Green (21-16-37) and Mya Waryas (23-11-34) have led the way. Lindsey Diomede leads the conference in caused turnovers (52), caused turnovers per game (3.47), ground balls (46) and ground balls per game (3.07).
