WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - First-year
Anthony Lim of the No. 21-ranked Williams College men's tennis team won in singles and doubles action Saturday afternoon during a 6-1 setback to No. 11 Bowdoin at the Hunt Tennis Center.
Lim teamed up with first-year
Matthew Yang for a 6-3 victory at the third doubles position for the Ephs (10-5, 6-3 NESCAC). The Polar Bears (14-3, 8-1 NESCAC) won 2-of-3 doubles matches to earn the one point, and then emerged victorious in 5-of-6 singles matches.
Lim won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 4 singles. He has compiled a 9-4 mark in singles competition this semester.
The Ephs will compete against No. 56 Colby Sunday at noon in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
