WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The No. 5-ranked Williams College women's crew team captured a silver medal in the second varsity eight race during the NCAA Division III Championship this spring, as now the Ephs turn their attention to the 2026-27 academic year and are ecstatic to announce their fall schedule.

The Ephs, who placed fifth as a team at the 2026 NCAA Championship, compete in the Head of the Riverfront on Sunday, Oct. 4, on the Connecticut River in Hartford, Connecticut. Williams concludes the fall season with the Head of the Charles on Sunday, Oct. 18, on the Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
During the 2026 spring season, the Ephs' four boat earned a gold medal at the National Invitational Rowing Championship (NIRC)/NESCAC Championship on May 10, while the first and third varsity eight boats took home silver medals. The first, second and third varsity eight units claimed silver medals at the New England Championship on May 2.
Williams leads the NESCAC with 11 all-time conference championships, winning eight consecutive from 2006-13. The group most recently hoisted the conference crown in 2023.
