WILMINGTON, Del. — After leading the No. 5-ranked Williams College women's crew team to a fifth-place finish at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championship, seniors Ellie Davis and Claire McDonald were named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA)/Pocock Division III All-American First and Second Team, respectively, on June 5.

Davis and McDonald were named to the 2026 NESCAC All-Conference First and Second Team, respectively. These two outstanding student-athletes were vital components on the first varsity eight boat, which earned silver medals during the grand finals at the National Invitational Rowing Championship (NIRC)/NESCAC Championship and the New England Rowing Championship this season. Davis and McDonald were a part of six first-place finishes with the first varsity eight during the spring.

The CRCA/Pocock All-American awards recognize the most outstanding collegiate rowers and coxswains across all NCAA Divisions and the lightweight category. These student-athletes have demonstrated elite athletic performance, leadership, consistency and dedication throughout the season, earning distinction among the top rowers in the nation.

This prestigious recognition honors individuals who have contributed significantly to their teams, while meeting high standards in competition and training. The All-American Teams also serve as the foundation for the selection of Athlete of the Year Finalists, with one ultimate Athlete of the Year selected from each division.
