WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - After earning a second-place finish during the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Championship on March 13-14 in Birmingham, Alabama, the No. 5-ranked Williams College women's track & field team will compete at the Outdoor Championship on May 21-23 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
The Ephs will be sending 13 student-athletes to nationals, as the event will be hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. Williams won the Indoor Championship in 2007 and 2019. The Ephs finished as runner-up during the Outdoor Championship in 2006, while earning third-place finishes in 2002 and 2017.
Competing this spring at the Outdoor Championship for the Ephs will be seniors
Ellie Fitzgerald (pole vault),
Charlene Peng (3,000-meter steeplechase),
Kate Swann (10,000 meters) and
Ella Sukup (4x400-meter relay), juniors
Tamar Byl (10,000 meters),
Morgan Eigel (5,000 meters),
Bella King-Harvey (400 meters, 4x400-meter relay),
Jordan Liss-Riordan (5,000 meters),
Cate Donaldson (4x400-meter relay) and
Claire Jensen (4x400-meter relay), sophomores
Annika Paluska (800 meters) and
Kate Tuttle (1,500 meters, 5,000 meters) and first-year
Eliza Ayres (long jump).
The Ephs' women's track & field team leads the NESCAC with 27 conference championships. Williams hoisted the title most recently in 2025 and placed first overall in 26-of-31 years from 1989-2019.
