La Crosse, Wis. — The Williams College Track & Feld teams continued competition Friday at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, adding another All-America finish and qualifying a pair of Ephs for Saturday's middle-distance finals.
Annika Paluska secured her spot in the women's 800m final after running 2:08.71 in the preliminaries, while Zachary Liu-Walter advanced on the men's side with a qualifying time of 1:50.34.
In the women's 400m, Bella King-Harvey narrowly missed a spot in Saturday's final, finishing just .31 seconds outside the qualifying mark with a time of 55.74.
The highlight of the day came in the women's steeplechase final, where Charlene Peng earned All-America honors with a sixth-place finish. Peng crossed the line in a personal-best and school-record time of 10:29.25.
The final day of competition at the NCAA Championships begins Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with the men's pole vault, followed by the 1500m finals at 2:25 p.m. to open the track events for the Ephs.
