Williamstown, Mass. — Williams College track and field senior
Zachary Liu-Walter has been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Third Team, recognizing his outstanding achievements as both a student and student-athlete.
Liu-Walter, a psychology major, earned his first CSC Academic All-America honor after excelling both on the track and in the classroom, adding to his two-time USTFCCA All-Academic career honors.
During the indoor season, he finished with fastest 800m time in the Mideast Region with a time of 1:50.99 before helping Williams earn a sixth-place finish in the distance medley relay at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships, collecting All-America and all-region honors.
He carried that momentum into the outdoor season, once again leading the 800 meters in the Mideast Region with a school-record time of 1:49.67 before placing ninth in the event at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships. Earlier in the spring, Liu-Walter also claimed the NESCAC title in the 800 meters.
Liu-Walter concludes his Williams career on the track as a two-time USTFCCCA All-Region selection, an All-American, a six-time NESCAC All-Conference performer and the program's outdoor 800-meter record holder.
