WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The No. 4-ranked Williams College men's crew team's first varsity eight earned a bronze medal during the grand final at the New England Rowing Championship Saturday, as the Ephs now turn their attention to the National Invitational Rowing Championship (NIRC)/NESCAC Championship Sunday on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Massachusetts.
The Ephs' second varsity eight placed first overall in its heat during the New England Championship, while also grabbing first-place honors during the Donahue Cup on April 11, Little Three Championship on April 18 and against then-No. 1 Tufts, No. 6 Marietta and No. 8 WPI on April 19. The third varsity eight picked up a first-place finish during the Donahue Cup on Lake Quinsigamond.

Williams leads the NESCAC with 11 conference championships, including winning the title in three consecutive years from 2021-23. Last season at the NIRC Championship, the Ephs' second varsity eight garnered a gold medal.
