FRISCO, Texas — The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) today announced the top 25 team GPAs among each NCAA Division and top 10 for the NAIA, with the fourth-ranked Williams College women's golf team ranking second among Division III programs with a GPA of 3.824. This is the highest finish ever for the Ephs and the fifth time in the past six years the team has been recognized among the top 25.
"I'm incredibly proud of the commitment our players show in the classroom," said head coach Tomas Adalsteinsson. "Earning the second-highest team GPA in Division III women's golf reflects the discipline, dedication and high standards they bring to everything they do, both academically and on the golf course. When they come to Williams, we talk about striving for excellence in both areas, and they continue to show that they can meet that standard."
Williams was one of two NESCAC schools to rank in the top 25 for team GPA in Division III with Middlebury seventh overall with a GPA of 3.765. Last week, five Eph golfers — senior Euna Lee, juniors Emma Abramson and Natalie Cheong, sophomore Michelle Ding and first-year Zoe Wynn — were named WGCA All-American Scholars.
The 2025-26 season was another successful one on the course for the Ephs. Both Lee and Cheong were named WGCA Second Team All-Americans while the team finished 10th at the NCAA Championship for a third consecutive year.
