WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Senior captain Bria Abbiati and sophomore Maya Lloyd of the 10th-ranked Williams College women's soccer team combined for two goals and two assists during a 3-0 victory over Hamilton Tuesday afternoon on Cole Field.

The Ephs (2-0-0, 2-0-0 NESCAC) opened the scoring in the 38th minute against the Continentals (1-1-0, 0-1-0 NESCAC), as sophomore midfielder Olivia Bevilacqua played a corner kick from the right attacking side into the 18-yard box. Sophomore midfielder Taryn Reohr earned her first collegiate point with an assist, heading the ball over to senior forward Isabel Konijnenberg, who headed the game-winning goal into the right side of the net.

The Ephs extended their lead to 2-0 during the 48th minute, as Abbiati headed a ball that was deflected by a Hamilton defender, and then Lloyd went straight down the middle of the field and buried a shot into the bottom left corner of the net.

Williams ended the scoring in the 63rd minute, with the sequence beginning with an outstanding through ball down the right attacking side by Bevilacqua. Lloyd fired a shot from the right side of the box that was deflected by the Continentals' goalkeeper, and then Abbiati went aggressively to the front of the goal and netted the rebound from point-blank range.

Junior goalkeeper Chelsea Mohammed made five saves, playing the first 80 minutes, four seconds, and then sophomore goalie Tessa Chomsky recorded one save in the final nine minutes, 56 seconds, as the two combined for the shutout. Goalie Corah Boller made eight saves for the visitors.

Williams held a 19-7 advantage in shots, including an 11-6 lead in shots on goal. The Ephs attempted 14 corner kicks and the Continentals were awarded three.

The Ephs will compete against Trinity Saturday at noon in Hartford, Connecticut.
