WILLIAMSTOWN,
MA. – Williams men's tennis (8-3, 4-1)
defeated the visiting Colby mules an 8-1 loss this afternoon (9-6,

“We knew looking at the schedule before
the season started that this was going to be a difficult stretch
for us,” commented Williams' head coach Dave
Donn. “ It's important for us to be
focused for every match, and we are off to a good start so
far.”
Williams set the tone early, taking a 2-1
advantage in doubles play. Bret Thacher and
Dicken Chaplin fell in an 8-5 result at court one at the hands of
Bryan Brown and Alex Chin, while Nick Lebedoff and Will Petrie won

taking the match 8-4.
The Ephs were
dominant in singles play, taking all six matches in routine

While the top half of the lineup remained intact, Donn shifted up
the bottom half.
