WILLIAMSTOWN—The Williams Men's Tennis team improved to 8-5 Wednesday with a non-conference win over Skidmore College.
The number one doubles team of Bryan Chow and Matt Micheli climbed out of a 3-0 hole to take their pro-set 8-6. Williams was able to win the other two doubles matches as well, holding a 3-0 lead going into singles.
The Ephs continued the momentum, winning five of the six matches. Felix Sun had the most impressive win at the top of the lineup, taking his match 6-0, 6-0.
"Matt and Bryan did a great job of digging out of an early deficit to get the 3-0 lead after doubles. From there everyone stayed ocused on their court, especially Bryan [Chow] and Felix who got some quick first sets for us. I'm really pleased with this result," commented head coach Dan Greenberg after the match.
Williams will host Bowdoin in a NESCAC showdown on Saturday.
