WILLIAMSTOWN—The #9 Williams Men's Tennis team picked up a crucial 5-4 victory over #14 Bowdoin at home today.
The number two pair of Felix Sun and Trey Meyer were the only ones to get a win in doubles play for the Ephs. The duo played a tidy pro-set, winning 8-3, to avoid falling in a 3-0 whole.
The 2-1 deficit after doubles left room for little error during singles play, but Williams was up to the task. First-year Matt Micheli had a crucial three set win at number two for the Ephs. Dylan Page and Trey Meyer were also tested but needed only two sets to finish off their opponents.
