Day 2 began on Saturday with the 60 meter hurdles. Coming off of his new school record from the BU Season Opener the previous weekend, Anderson ran a solid time of 8.21 seconds, which was the fastest of the competitors and worth 930 points. Pole vault, the penultimate event of the heptathlon, was successful for Anderson as well. He jumped 4.00 meters (13'1.5"), which tied his personal best and scored 617 points. In the last event of the heptathlon, the 1000 meter run, Anderson ran yet another personal best. Although Anderson will likely not compete in another heptathlon until the 2023 NCAA Championships in March, he will join the rest of his team when they return in the new year at the Little Three Championships at Wesleyan University.
