Eph head coach
Sarah Raymond commented, "It is always gratifying when any players are recognized for post-season teams. We are so proud of Jaq, Tori and Paige making the NESCAC First Team and ecstatic for Jaq being recognized as Player of the Year."
Raymond added, "Jaq is one of our senior captains and our general in the middle of the field. All of our plays typically start with a ball from Jaq and her soccer ability coupled with her soccer IQ and her pure competitiveness are second to none. She invests every ounce of herself in each moment on the field and at practice and her impact on our team is integral to all of our team success. A quiet leader, Jaq is respected for her leadership, inspiring others through her commitment and by demonstrating what it means to play with joy. I am appreciative that fellow NESCAC coaches also recognize her importance to our team through this honor."
"Tori is our energizer bunny in the midfield and also gives absolutely everything on the field," said Raymond. "She is everywhere and covers so much ground throughout a game, working back on defense and driving forward to initiate attacks for us. She never backs down from a challenge, is brave, and brings passion and heart to everything she does."
Raymond noted, "Paige has been such a key player in our defense this year, she is so tough to beat 1 v 1, never stops working and is a beast in the air. Another player who competes in every minute, Paige is loved by her teammates for how she competes with class and demonstrates sportsmanship in every moment."
