Williamstown, MA – Williams men's tennis completed a weekend at home with a 9-0 victory over Connecticut College increasing their win streak to six. The Ephs made a strong start in doubles and failed to drop a set during the singles play. Both sophomore

Simon Volkema did not drop a game during the singles play.
In the doubles, senior
Chase Cohen and junior
Matt Kandel impressed at the 1 spot as the duo earned a 8-0 win. Senior
Karan Amin and sophomore
Andrew Chong were paired together at the 3 spot and finished shortly after Cohen and Kandel with a 8-3 victory. Berdia and Volkema closed the doubles sweep with a 8-6 win.
In the singles, Cohen set up Berdia for the clinch. Cohen raced to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at the 1 spot. A few minutes after Berdia clinched, Amin closed up shop at the 6 spot with a 6-2, 6-1 win. Volkema, Kandel, and Chong followed suit with straight set victories.
With the win the Ephmen are 9-2 overall and 4-1 in NESCAC.The Ephs will stay at home as they face Middlebury next Saturday at 2 PM.
