WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS.—The Williams College men's tennis team (14-4) was defeated by Bowdoin in the NESCAC Tournament semifinals in a match played indoors 5-2.
The visiting Polar Bears were successful in reversing the regular season match defeat 5-4 they suffered at the hands of Williams in Brunswick, Maine on April 17, by taking a 2-1 lead into singles play and capturing three quick singles victories.
The lone Eph doubles team to prevail was the pairing of
Matt Kandel and
Andrew Chong who downed Ethan Bradley and Pieter Breuker 8-7 (7-2).
Kandel also registered the lone Eph singles win downing Tristan Bradley 6-1, 7-5.
