SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Two hundred and ninety-nine student-athletes in NCAA DI, DII and DIII have been selected to the 2024 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic Teams, announced by the organization on June 27.
Members of the teams are nominated by head coaches in Divisions I, II and II, and are student-athletes who have excelled both in the classroom and on the field over the course of their men's lacrosse career.
Overall, 59 different colleges and universities were represented across all three divisions.
Fourteen schools from Division I made up the 88 All-Academic award winners, while 33 honorees represented six different schools in Division II, while Division III had 178 honorees from 39 different institutions.
Nominees must have been a senior or graduate student standing with no eligibility remaining or plans to use their eligibility in New England, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale, and be an impact player for their team.
