Carter Fayard battled hard but ultimately fell, with Marin losing 6-2, 6-3, and Fayard 6-4, 6-1.
In the second batch of matches, senior captain
Shawn Berdia demonstrated veteran composure, rallying for a 3-6, 6-2, 10-8 victory, while senior captain
