NEW ORLEANS, La. - After placing first overall out of 25 teams during the NCAA Division III Regional Championship Saturday, the No. 1-ranked Williams College women's cross country team placed seven student-athletes on the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region Team.
"The women's team knew that the regional meet is a springboard to nationals, so the student-athletes approached it with clear purpose," said head coach
Dusty Lopez. "Their talent and training showed, as we placed all seven racers in the top 14 of the field. I have rarely seen such a thorough and impressive effort from any team."
Sophomore
Kate Tuttle led the Ephs in the 6-kilometer race at the Ronald C. Hoffmann Cross Country Course in Canton, New York, as she finished third overall with a time of 21:34.3. Other All-Region honorees include senior captain

Tamar Byl-Brann (8th, 21:51.6), junior
Morgan Eigel (10th, 22:00.7), senior captain
Charlene Peng (11th, 22:03.7), junior
