COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - After leading the Williams College field hockey team to its fourth consecutive NCAA Division III Tournament in 2025, senior captains
Kiki Higgins and
Pilar Torres were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III All-American Team Tuesday.

Higgins earned a spot on the First Team and Torres was represented on the Third Team. This is the second straight year that Higgins has garnered First Team accolades, while Torres was named to the Second Team at the conclusion of the 2024 season. This fall, both student-athletes were named to the NFHCA Division III Senior Team.
Higgins and Torres have been named to the NFHCA All-Region II First Team and NESCAC All-Conference First Team in three straight years from 2023-25. Higgins was recognized as the conference's Rookie of the Year in 2022.
During their illustrious collegiate careers, Higgins and Torres combined for 73 goals, 51 assists, 197 points and 20 game-winning tallies. Williams advanced to the program's first-ever NCAA Final Four in 2022 and repeated the feat again in 2024.
"Being named All-Americans for the second straight year speaks to the standard Kiki and Pilar hold themselves to," said head coach
Alix Barrale. "Their consistency, competitiveness and leadership have anchored this program and set the tone for everyone around them."
Higgins tallied 25 points or more in all four seasons as an Eph. During her senior season, the Weston, Massachusetts, native posted 13 goals, seven assists, 33 points and three game-winners, while scoring a hat trick in a 6-0 victory over Smith on Sept. 17 at Williamson Field.
"Kiki plays with an edge, leads with humility and competes in a way that makes everyone around her better," said Barrale. "Being named an All-American again is simply a reflection of the impact she has had for four years."
Torres competed in all 79 games during her remarkable career. The Madison, New Jersey, native was a force on the defensive side of the field, as the Ephs shut out 29 opponents during her four years.
"Pilar competes with confidence, creativity and a fearless edge," said Barrale. "She brings a presence to the field that demands attention and her All-American recognition is a testament to her growth, discipline and impact at the national level."
