Ephs Continue Their Success at BU Terrier Invitational

BOSTON, MA — The rest of the Williams College Men's Track and Field team competed at the 2025 Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic on Saturday, February 1st. They continued on their momentum from yesterday with great performances all around.

Competing for the second day in a row, Alfonso Pimentel '28 showed his endurance with another strong set of times in the 60m Hurdles. In the preliminary round, Pimentel ran 8.75s, followed by 8.80s in the finals. Next was Yanni Kakouris '27 who ran a time of 7.40s in the 60m Dash. In the 400m, Oscar Newman '25, Bryce Cooper '26, Colin Stone '27, and Noah Stegmeier '28 all competed well. Newman finished with a time of 48.72s, leading the pack of Ephs. Cooper finished with another strong time of 50.36s. Stone and Stegmeier finished with times of 51.10s and 51.24s, respectively. In the 500m, Zachary Liu-Walter '26 finished with a time of 1:06.51.

Over at the 200m Dash, Kakouris achieved a new personal best of 22.42s. Also competing in the 200m was Nathan Corrielus '27, finishing with a time of 23.52s. After was the 4x400m, consisting of Stegmeier, Newman, Stone, and Cooper. The four ran strongly to achieve a time of 3:21.80. In the 3000m, Chuckie Namiot '25 finished with a new personal best of 8:20.01. Grahm Tuohy Gaydos '25 and Keiyu Mamiya '28 followed with times of 8:28.24 and 8:39.08, respectively.

After another day of successes, the Ephs will be looking forward to the rest of the indoor season as they lead up to the D3 New England Championships. In the next two weeks, members of the men's team will be at the Tufts Multi from Friday, February 7th - Saturday, February 8th, BU Valentine on Friday, February 14th, and the Tufts Invite on Saturday, February 15th.
