HADLEY, Mass. - After placing fifth overall with a personal-best time of 9:02.46 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase during the Bison Outdoor Classic, junior
Henry Alexander of the Williams College men's track & field team was recognized as the NESCAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week Tuesday morning by the conference office.
Alexander's performance in the steeplechase at Bucknell in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, was the second best by any Division III student-athlete at the meet and the time ranks fifth in Division III this season.
The Ephs will compete Friday at the MIT Sean Collier Invitational in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and the University at Albany Bobbi Palma Spring Classic in Albany, New York.
